Grooming Trailer financing SCAMS are everywhere!

It’s true, finding financing for trailers is more difficult than for vans. Therefore, some grooming trailer conversion companies are quick to refer shoppers to just about anything that resembles a real finance company.

Some companies will refer you to a site where you can actually apply on-line–DON’T DO IT!

NEVER, NEVER enter your personal information into a website even if the company LOOKS legitimate. REPUTABLE companies DON’T require you to apply this way. Even if the finance company LOOKS legitimate, it could easily be a fishing site. Criminals often build sites and hope that someone is desperate enough “for a loan” to actually enter personal information like SS#, name, address–everything they would need to rob you blind.

One “finance company” that a grooming trailer converter is referring to explains on their site that it is “protected” and your personal information is “safe.” If that’s so, then how did I ACCIDENTALLY enter their “SECURED” website by simply googleing their name? SERIOUSLY, I was inside their unprotected website and could have done anything I wanted! If a company can’t even keep someone who GOOGLES THEIR NAME from manipulating data in their own website, then do you really think they are going to protect your data? Of course, I backed out of the site with no malicious acts.

Fishing scams exist. NEVER give your personal information to a website. Go directly to a bank, speak to a banker, and do it the right way… or just get ripped off.
