SERIOUS Business, SERIOUS Equipment
June 19, 2006
Folks keep asking us where we get all of our stainless steel equipment. Well, we build it ourselves. We understand why customers think that it is publicly available because so many other conversion companies simply purchase their stainless tubs from other companies and attach them to the floor of their grooming vans or trailers. They even may try to pass it off as their own.
GT fabricates every stainless steel item in our trailer. We are able to provide the best construction at the lowest cost. Other companies have little choice but to install plywood or plastic pieces into their conversions because they don’t have either the ability or the know-how to have it done. If they do have the ability, then they are simply CHOOSING to install inferior materials.
In addition to fabricating our own fully welded bathing area, we fabricate all of our shelving and storage caches as well. We don’t purchase standard 2′ deep cabinets from a hardware store like many other conversions. Those products can most likely rot because they are not engineered for what the mobile grooming routine throws at them.
In addition, because WE determine the dimensions of our cabinets, our overall design allows GT more flexibility with how we organize our equipment. The 5′ x 8′ GT design provides the SAME amount of workspace as a larger trailer or van because WE are in charge of the equipment dimensions. Building our own pieces allows a much more efficient use of space.
Keep this in mind: If a conversion van or trailer looks like its parts were purchased at a hardware store, they most likely were.
GT Grooming Trailers understands that the public wants durable, easy to clean, and rot-resistant grooming salons. Therefore, we do not compromise on materials. Mobile groomers deserve stainless steel equipment - not plywood partitions, plastic tubs, hardware store quality cabinetry, or any other cheap material.
Groomers also deserve to win the war over clutter. Because we design our own pieces, GT customers no longer have the “dangling hoses”, misplaced faucet knobs, cabinet drawers that don’t properly protect items, or don’t have a properly designed station to keep the essential grooming tools where they need them - at the right hand of the table. You would think that some conversion companies aren’t mobile groomers themselves by how they have designed their vans or trailers; and you would probably be RIGHT!
Experienced mobile groomers, are constantly amazed at how well designed our 5′ x 8′ trailer is and how open and easily accessible all the equipment is. Also, the ability to have all of the most often used grooming tools are right where they need them - without having to “set up” at the beginning of each stop. GT understands that mobile grooming salons should be built for MOBILE GROOMERS. Having misplaced storage cabinets or requiring groomers to purchase additional storage totes for their van or trailer is not acceptable to GT.
Mobile grooming is a serious business and you deserve serious equipment.
